These intuitive, non-representational paintings are created without reference to a subject, but often end up reminding viewers of a certain place or time in their lives. When I'm creating, each layer of paint is informed by the previous one, and in building multiple layers, I'm able to scrape back to reveal hidden treasures beneath the surface.
